Twenty-three samples were analyzed for their fatty acid content to determine if significant variance existed between samples. Overall, the fatty acid profiles of the 23 flaxseed samples were very consistent.

Key Words: flaxseed • laying hen • linolenic acid • n-3 (omega-3) fatty acid
