Changes in the Laying Cycle as a Result of a Phosphorus Deficiency

Two experiments were conducted to define the signs of a phosphorus deficiency in commercial laying hens. A phosphorus deficiency caused a random regression of ovum. This random regression of ovarian follicles could aid in identifying a phosphorus deficiency.
